The M-1951 fishtail parka, or M51 parka, was a cold weather coat designed by the US Army for the Korean War. It was a lighter and cheaper version of the previous M-1948 parka. this is the 1st pattern, it had a distinctive fishtail shape at the back to cover the legs and a detachable hood with fur trim (either Red Fox or Coyote).
